The Middle School Head Flag Football Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the middle school flag football program. The coach will promote skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and character while ensuring a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate experience for all student-athletes.

Plan and conduct effective practices that emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, and player development.

Coach and supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities.

Teach and model good sportsmanship, leadership, respect, and ethical behavior.

Ensure compliance with district policies, school rules, and league regulations.

Maintain appropriate supervision of student-athletes before, during, and after practices and games.

Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and administrators.

Collaborate with the Athletic Director on scheduling, transportation, equipment, and facility use.

Maintain accurate records, including rosters, eligibility, and required forms.

Support the academic success and positive behavior of student-athletes.

Assist with inventory, care, and return of athletic equipment and uniforms.

Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development related to coaching and safety.
