Job Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a credentialed paraprofessional certified in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior-analytic services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or an RBT Requirements Coordinator, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform.

An RBT assists students with developing social skills, reducing behavior challenges, as well as data collection.

Qualifications:                                                          

• be at least 18 years old
• have completed high school-level education or equivalent
• have Registered Behavior Certification                                                                                                                                                                  

Reports to:

• Assigned Principal (District Evaluator)
• Assigned BCBA (Supervisor)

Terms of Employment

182 days. Salary based on Teacher Assistant Scale minimum step 13 + $4000 stipend
